Firangi Paani aims high with its next Signature Event
Firangi Paani, which was formed last year by a group by like-minded individuals, has announced its next signature event aimed at bring the true Bollywood razzmatazz and showmanship to social events while fostering greater interaction between successful people in the Australian Indian community in Sydney.
Sandeep Verma, one of the co-founders of Firangi Paani with over 20 years’ experience in the film and entertainment industry in India and Australia, commented that in a very short time Firangi Paani is renowned for top quality events for Indian families.
He added, “For the first time in Sydney, we have created a professionally choreographed show with award winning burlesque performers and hand-picked each of the Firangi entertainers for item songs choreographed on popular Indian tunes. This would be a platform exclusively for men of Indian origin to network over premium drinks and food at a great venue. Our guests will have a red carpet welcome and guaranteed to be pampered like a celebrity in Bollywood.”
“It has been a humbling experience to have the event almost sold out even before the flyer was released. Our event teaser went viral on social media and emails and group booking have been pouring in daily. We will allocate the tickets on first-come-first-serve basis. “I am very fortunate and blessed to have a team of very experienced marketing and event management professionals assisting me and to help bring this vision to fruition,” adds Sandeep.
Says Sameer Arora, Events and Logistics Manager for the event, “At Firangi Paani we believe the Australian Indian community has in its amidst, very hard working white collared professional people who are not inclined to attend the recent spate of dance parties in the city with loud music and primarily catering for teenagers and GenYs. We also felt that there was a demand to replicate the exclusive, elite, members-only club experience from India where successful people come to network and party. The team has worked very hard for several months to find the right performers, venue, catering and lighting technicians resulting in the current incarnation of the event – Showtime.”
The guests are coming from Wollongong to Blue Mountains and as far away as Melbourne and Canberra.
On August 23 at 7 p.m., at the opulent Crowne Plaza in Norwest in the Hills district, the exclusive invite-only event will celebrate the impending arrival of spring season with the powerhouses of Indian community professionals in attendance. Guests of the first-of-its-kind party have been personally chosen specifically for their social engagement and profile.
“We’re changing how people are invited to attend parties and network,” says Sandeep. “Instead of mass marketing, we are leveraging our database of most influential names within the community and asking friends of Firangi Paani to invite their closest friends. We are aiming for about 200+ gentlemen representing the elite of Indian community in Sydney.”
“This is a ground-breaking way to interact with the Australian Indian communities’ top influencers at such an exciting place,” says Rohit Revo, Editor of Indian Herald news portal (@rohitrevo). “We are excited to partner with Firangi Paani and celebrate the event with like-minded and high net worth professionals.”
