UN Security Council condems Pulwama Bombing

United Nations Security Council has asked member states to cooperate with India to bring the perpetrators of Pulwama terror attack to justice. The statement clearly identifies Jaish-e-Mohammed as the group which carried out the attack. Jaish-e-Mohammed is a Pakistan based terror outfit, which has accepted the responsibility of killing of over 40 Indian CRPF personnel.

The statement says, “The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in over 40 Indian paramilitary forces dead and dozens wounded on February 14, 2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility.”
